Khim's Tuk Tuk Tours Phnom Penh

ABOUT

ABOUT KHIM

Sousdey (Hello),

I’m Khim, an English speaking Khmer who has many years of experience showing tourists around all the great sights of Phnom Penh. I own both a Tuk Tuk and an air conditioned SUV. You can tour in and around Phnom Penh or travel further away in air conditioned comfort for a great day rate.

I am a family man with a beautiful wife and two lovely daughters.  I have set fair and reasonable prices based on how many passengers, what vehicle and how long you wish to hire me.

Please give me a call or write to me with your request.

Arkoun (Thank you)

Khim

MY SERVICES

MY SERVICES

Tours

Many years of experience assisting tourists  in my country has led me to develop a small number of tours, which I believe will give you a great taste of the "City of Wonder", Phnom Penh.  Look at my tours page for more information.

Car Hire

I have a great air conditioned SUV that you can hire instead of my Tuk Tuk to see all the sights of Phnom Penh or I can drive you to other cities and sites in Cambodia. Ask me about my hourly and day rates.

Mini Van Hire

If you are more than 4 people I have an air conditioned Mini Van that you can hire. Ask me about my hourly and day rates.

Tuk Tuk Hire

Our Khmer Tuk Tuk is not like those in other countries. It is an open carriage that seats up to four behind a motor bike.  My international guests tell me that travelling around the city  in a tuk tuk  makes you feel like royalty.

MY TOURS

JUST A FEW OF MY TOURS

Half Day City Tour

This is my most popular request.  Have your camera ready as in just over 2 hours  I will take you past more than 25 cultural, political and historical sites including markets.

Pagodas, Palaces & Museums

Let me take you to the three main Pagodas in Phnom Penh and then the Royal Palace (including the Silver Pagoda) and finish with our National Museum. An entry fee applies for the Palace and Museum.  I must remain with my vehicle but you do not need a guide for these sites.

Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields

I will take you to see some of dark history of the Khmer Rouge.   There is a small entry charge at both locations and  you will want to plan 45 - 60 mins at each.  It will take approx 40 mins to drive (either car or tuk tuk) between them.  I recommend we start early and then afterwards stop for some shopping at a local market to clear your mind from what you have seen.  An entry fee applies for both sites.  I must remain with my vehicle but you do not need a guide for these sites.

Elegance and Night Lights

A great way to start your evening. I will take you to the famous Le Royal Hotel and wait while you enjoy 5 star service in the Elephant Bar during their Happy Hour.  Then I will take you on a 60 minute tour around the city to see the night lights.  During our journey we will try some local delicacies like ants and crickets and then I will drop you off at a restaurant of your choice.

Full day city tour

We will pack a lot in during this full day city tour.  Pagodas, Palaces, Museums and Markets but lets not forget all of the major cultural and  historical sites.  We will stop at a great local Khmer restaurant for lunch.

Shop till you drop.

Let me take you to our famous markets, where you can buy everything from silk scarves to silver statues.  I will share some shopping secrets with you and tell you when to bargain and when to stop.

Food, Glorious Food

Hungry for a delicious Khmer BBQ dinner, or a cocktail whilst you watch the world go by ? Let me introduce you to some of Phnom Penh's best taste sensations.

Arts and Crafts

Starting with Silk Island  we will also visit well known community projects such as 'Friends' and 'Daughters of Cambodia'. Then take a stroll along   "Art Street" (st 178) and  see local artists, painting and carving. We will conclude with St 240 to see a range of more up market crafts.

Get your heart pumping

This tour is for visitors who want some excitement! Visit a local shooting range and then try your skill at go-cart racing.  Or if you are looking for evening entertainment we can go to our Khmer Boxing.  Full of local flavour, these matches are popular with locals and visitors alike.

I know some visitors find bargaining confronting so I have set prices for my services. My fees are fair  and I believe my prices are fair and compare well with other operators.  I set my price based on which of my vehicles you hire and how many passengers there are. I do not receive a gratuity from any business that I take you to and I only take you to sites I recommend.
